The Mission of the Embassy is to represent The Gambia in China, protect the interest of our nationals in China, promote friendly relations between The Gambia and China as well as develop our economics and cultural relations.

The Gambia’s foreign policy is carved within the framework of the purposes and principles of the Charters of both the United Nations and the African Union, on the basis of mutual respect for the sovereign equality, independence and territorial integrity of states, the maintenance of international peace and security, and promotion of friendly relations among nations; and conditioned by the country’s commitment to the doctrine of non-alignment.
