Ambassador Kinteh presents a copy of his Letter of Credence

On 19^th October 2020, His Excellency Massaneh Nyuku Kinteh, Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the People’s Republic of China officially presented copies of his letter of credentials to Ms. Li Anrong, Deputy Director General of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

In his remarks, Ambassador Kinteh conveyed warm greetings to His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, H.E. Wang Yi from their Gambian counterparts, H.E. Adama Barrow President of the Republic of The Gambia and Hon. Mamadou Tangara, Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Gambia respectively. He further extended sincere appreciation to the Chinese government for the support rendered to The Gambia since the re-establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in March 2016. He noted the great achievements registered between the two countries which the two Heads of States of both countries, His Excellency President Adama Barrow and His Excellency President Xi Jinping have committed themselves to, notable in the areas of health, agriculture, education and infrastructural development.

H.E. Ambassador Kinteh assured the Chinese side of The Gambia’s committed to the One China policy and to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and enhance collaboration in the international arena.
